BioQuest Studios represent a team of multi-skilled marine and underwater professionals brought together to provide a safe, reliable and economical approach to any production no matter how remote or environmentally hostile the location.

Our depth of experience has been gained by working with some of the finest technicians in the international film and television industry. We have used this experience to develop project-specific equipment, techniques and procedures.

Our primary focus is on two major areas:

1) The development of a nucleus of multi-skilled personnel, enabling us to reduce crew sizes without compromising the safety and integrity of a production. In addition to their specific technical abilities, crew members are also experienced in a variety of production skills.

2) The choice of the most appropriate, robust, reliable and field serviceable equipment, minimising potential downtime and hire costs. The streamlining of equipment packaging has also resulted in the significant reduction of weight and transportation costs.

We hold a comprehensive filming permit for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, including an animal collection permit.
