Animal and natural history filming is greatly complimented by acquisitions in controlled environment. A studio setup is independent of weather and sea conditions and does not require deployment of large crews. Our philosophy behind indoor studio facility involves:
- reduced carbon emissions of short-term and long-term projects
- saving costs by avoiding long-term boat hire and cancellations due to the unpredictable weather
- reducing harm caused to animal and the envrionment
- repeatability and control over the shoot, the specifics of techniques, sets, lights. etc
- instant communication with the production team and the director
Running a marine underwater facility requires a large amount of specialised skills from aquaculture to motion control. We provide a full range of services and modify our equipment/setups on the fly by adjusting to the needs of the production. Our collection permit allows us to economically recreate sophisticated sets and source appropriate species.
